Life Skills are trainings to enable individuals to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment. Life skills are necessary or desirable for full participation in everyday life. MINKS educate our clients on the necessary skill needed to deal effectively with challenges faced.
Counseling services are provided by licensed and experienced clinicians, and mental health professionals who are dedicated to understanding the needs and concerns of their clients. We offer traditional talk therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other skill-based approaches tailored to support all ages, while prioritizing individual needs and preferences.
MINKS helps people achieve specific goals and overcome obstacles to personal growth. Goals may be related to any area of personal development, including relationships, finance or health and wellness. MINKS use a strength based approach at connecting individuals served to community resources that will help them develop and implement personal goals.

Our Certified Counselors
Outpatient services assist individuals, couples, and families experiencing difficulty with managing mental health and/or behavioral disorders.
Individualized Service Plans
the person-centered approach emphasizes the development of partnerships between client and MINKS. All aspects of person-centered treatment planning rely on shared decision making and client-defined outcomes.
Several Payment Options
Several Payment Options Funding for M.I.N.K.S. services are available through Medicaid, private insurance, Department of Juvenile Justice, scholarships, private donors, self-pay, and/or Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) funding approval process.
